I have lost my recipe for Watergate salad. I really would like to have another since I have just found Jello's sugar free Pistacho pudding mix. If you or any of your viewers could help me I would be so happy. Thanks,

Geri

Chef Andy's recipe archives have failed him, but his readers have come through! Within twenty-four hours of posting your query here, he received two distinct recipes for Watergate salad! (Oddly enough, a third email arrived, but turned out to be nothing but a uuencoded audio file containing fourteen minutes of silence. :^)

Watergate Salad II
------------------
Not sure that this recipe is called "Watergate Salad" or not, did not have a
name for it, but at least you can use your pistachio pudding.

1. 1 Large Can of Fruit Cocktail.
2. 1 Can of Crushed Pineapple.
3. 1 large Tablespoon of Helman's Mayonaise.
4. 1 Box of Pistachio Pudding.
5. 1 small can of Mandrian oranges.
6. 1 small container of Cool Whip.
7. Chopped nuts (optional).

Drain fruit cocktail, pinapple, and mandrian oranges. Mixed that with the
mayonaise, pudding and chopped nuts, add cool whip to consistency that you want.
