I'm looking for the recipe using Jello, where you bake a layer or sheet cake, poke holes in it with a toothpick then pour over it your choice of color and flavor of Jello, if you could help me out with thsi I would sure appreciate it. Thanks a bunch.

Hi, Marice! Chef Andy is always happy to help, and "Jell-O Poke Cake" is sure to make your day more surreal! You want to choose a cake mix and Jell-O flavor which complement each other. Try standard white cake and raspberry Jell-O, banana cake and orange Jell-O, or for a truly dark and mysterious confection, devils's food cake and black cherry Jell-O.

Jell-O Poke Cake

1 package (18-oz) pudding-included cake mix, any flavor and color.
1 package (3-oz) Jell-0, of complementary flavor and color.
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water

Prepare cake batter as per package instructions. Pour into greased
and floured 13"x9" cake pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees.
Remove from oven and let cool 15 minutes.

While cake is cooling, dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Add cold
water and allow to cool to room temperature.

Now it's poke time! Take a fork and poke lots and lots of little holes
in the cake. Carefully pour Jell-O over cake. Put cake in refrigerator
and chill three to four hours.
